Quality and format notes
The tool renders pages at 144 DPI, then encodes them as JPG. JPG is useful for sharing photographic pages; compression may introduce artifacts around small text. Adjust image quality before converting.
JPG cannot preserve transparency; transparent areas are flattened onto white. Choose PNG for crisp diagrams. Password-protected PDFs are unsupported, and the PDF page, memory and output limits still apply.
